The Story Behind our Ingredients.

Why Clay?

Clay has been used since ancient times for its therapeutic and healing properties. We use it for its ability to enhance beauty. Clay is naturally rich in minerals and micro-nutrients and is believed to protect, detoxify, heal, and rejuvenate all skin types. Clay will adsorb excess oil, dirt, and toxins, and bring blood flow to the surface of the skin, as well as remove impurities through gentle exfoliation.

What it won’t do is overly dry or irritate your skin.

Best of all, Mother Nature has provided us with clay in a rainbow of colors. The hardest decision to make is which one? I invite you to Try Them All!

Why Botanicals?

Botanicals have been used for thousands of years for their therapeutic and restorative properties, as well as to add flavor, scent, and color.  A botanical is a plant leaf or plant part, such as the flower, the root, or the seed.  Unlike additives, and chemicals botanicals are from nature. Botanicals offer an astounding number of compounds that possess anti-aging and antioxidant properties. What you use on your skin is as important as what you put in your body. I have paired some of the finest, most exotic clays with bio-active botanicals for luxurious and healthy skin care. I don’t make any promises except that my formulations will be all natural. Health food for your skin.
